Guatemala is currently conducting its selection process for the Prosecutor General Thelma Aldana. Currently, there is a lot at stake: the consolidation and continuity of the success that Guatemala has reached in the fight against impunity, with the international support from the International Commission Against Impunity in Guatemala (CICIG). DPLF participated in a panel discussion on this issue organized by the Wilson Center in Washington, DC and with the participation of CICIG Commissioner Ivan Velásquez.
