On November 14th and 15th, 2014, DPLF’ senior program officer Daniel Cerqueira participated in the 43rd Annual Conference of the Canadian Council on International Law, which focused on the theme of energy, natural resources, corporate social responsibility, sustainable development and human rights. On November 14th, 2014, Daniel Cerqueira lectured in a panel on natural resources, human rights and conflicts, on the role of the Canadian State for human rights violations committed by its mining companies in Latin America.
