The following Digests, published by DPLF over the last 15 years, represent a compilation of innovative case law from courts in several Latin American countries in the areas of international crimes; victims’ rights; and sentences ordering reparations for grave human rights violations.
Taken together, they are a systematization of advances made in these areas by domestic courts prosecuting international crimes and human rights abuses. The objective of these digests is to provide a simple and accessible tool that contributes to discourse and knowledge on these kinds of proceedings, as well as a jumping off point for the academic discussion of these issues.
