DPLF sends letter to Panamanian President

In this letter, DPLF expresses its concern about the selection process of Supreme Court justices

On December 22, 2009, DPLF sent a letter to the President of Panama, Ricardo Martinelli, in which it expressed its concern about the selection process for Supreme Court justices in the country. A copy of this letter was sent to the Panamanian Congress, the Inter American Commission on Human Rights, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Independence of Judges and Lawyers and the Regional Representative of the Office of the High Commissioner on Human Rights of the United Nations.
